SUEZ celebrates World Oceans Day with River Darwen clean up

• The event will begin at 9.45am from Darwen household waste recycling centre on Sping Vale Road (BB3 2ES) where gloves, litter pickers and waste bags will be provided to volunteers.

  Ed Best, SUEZ’s Regional Manager, said: “Litter from along the banks of the River Darwen could end up polluting our rivers, oceans and beaches. We are delighted to be playing our part in protecting these spaces.”
