SUEZ has submitted a planning application to build a carbon capture plant on currently unused land within our site behind one of our existing energy-from-waste facilities at our Tees Valley site in North East England.
Our proposal
The proposed SUEZ Tees Valley Carbon Capture plant would be built on currently unused land. It would decarbonise the process of creating energy from the non-recyclable household waste that is treated at the energy-from-waste facility.
