Is environmental responsibility simply about resources?
-
As a sector, our purpose is to protect and value natural resources, but our responsiblity goes far beyond this, from carbon to air pollution, biodiveristy to plastic pollution, we are in a unique position to help solve many of the environmental challenges facing us.
We will be discussing this and much more with our panel of expert speakers, including Countryfile presenter Tom Heap, along with speakers from Groundwork and the World Wildlife Foundation. This hour long webinar aims to explore the importance of the waste and resources sectors role to protect, conserve and enhance the environment.
Real-life examples of projects aimed at delivering on this responsibility will be shared as the panellists discuss who should be responsible, how the waste and resources sector can do more, and the challenges and opportunities facing organisations working to reduce the impact of their operations.
This informal session will provide peer-to-peer learning opportunities with insights and experiences shared openly by our panel. There will also be the opportunity for the audience to have their questions answered, so register today to join the conversation.
