Community outreach helps brighten Avonmouth Primary School with freshly painted classrooms
The initiative saw more than 14 employees from SUEZ roll up their sleeves and donate their time and skills to transform classrooms. The project not only transformed the learning spaces but also fostered a sense of community and teamwork among volunteers and the school.
“Our goal at SUEZ is not only to manage waste responsibly but also to support and connect with the local communities we serve,” said Fred Stinchcombe, Regional Manager “We know that a positive learning environment can significantly impact students’ success. We’re delighted to give back and create a space that inspires creativity and learning.”
The painting project was organised in collaboration with the school’s Business Manager Jackie Hall, provided the paint whilst SUEZ provided brushes, rollers and volunteers who spent the day prepping walls, painting, and cleaning up, with many expressing their enjoyment in contributing to a cause that benefits local children.
“I can’t express how thankful we are for the support from SUEZ,” said Mrs Peach, Headteacher “The new paint will not only brighten the classrooms but also uplift the spirits of our students and staff. This partnership showcases the importance of community involvement and the positive impact we can achieve together.”
