About the fund
The Aberdeen Reuse Community Fund was launched in 2024 by SUEZ from sales through the Hazlehead reuse shop. The purpose of the Fund is to support schools and community groups to make environmental improvements, in support of social value, health and wellbeing, for the benefit of the wider community.
Organisations can apply for grants of up to £500, with a total £5,000 available through one funding round each year. In all cases the fund should support the project or activity directly through obtaining or purchasing equipment and supplies or towards training for the delivery of the projects. The fund will not be made available to applications primarily aimed at reducing operating costs or aimed at individuals, the purchasing of land and/or vehicles and buildings.
All applicants will need to be formally constituted and must be not-for-profit organisations within the Aberdeen City Council area.
Projects that match the Reuse Community Fund criteria will be shortlisted and then reviewed by representatives from SUEZ who will award the funds.
