Mark Taylor

Mark joined SUEZ recycling and recovery UK in March 2023 with 30 years’ experience in the waste management industry, gained in the UK and Australia.

During his time in Australia, Mark managed waste treatment operations nationally and waste collection and treatment regionally across South Australia and the Northern Territory. In the UK he held senior operational roles in energy from waste, organics, recycling, waste transfer and logistics as well as municipal collections.

Until November 2023, he was responsible for the strategic development of the I&C business working with customers to develop solutions required in a rapidly changing waste management industry landscape.

Mark is now the Regional Director for the South West and, with his team, is responsible for managing operations at 50 facilities across the region and over 700 frontline staff. The portfolio includes the substantial Cornwall PFI, Devon HWRC and Somerset municipal contracts, plus many more.
