Our corporate charity partner: Macmillan Cancer Support
Macmillan Cancer Support provide essential financial, practical and emotional support to people living with cancer, as well as advocating for better cancer care. They are 98% funded by voluntary donations, so the fundraising we contribute helps to ensure they can continue to deliver the vital support people living with cancer need.
We first started working with Macmillan in 2013 and are now delighted to be celebrating the 10-year anniversary of our partnership. Over the last 10 years, we have raised over £545,000 for Macmillan and we look forward to adding to that total this year.
Our big events
Every other year, we plan a 'big event' to help us raise even more vital funds for Macmillan.
The Big 10 at 10 (2023)
Celebrating 10 years of partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support, colleagues are taking on challenges to raise £101010 (or £10-10-10 as we like to say it) by the end of 2023. Wish us luck!
The Big Climb (2021)
The Big Climb was all about clocking up as much elevation as possible throughout June, July and August. Together we climbed over 1,900,000m.
The Big Walk (2018)
In June 2018, we challenged our employees, families, friends and suppliers to collectively walk 357,000km - one kilometre for each person that was diagnosed with cancer per year as of 2018.
Rio Roadshow (2016)
We challenged our employees to run, row and ride the distance between London and Rio de Janeiro (over 5,700 miles) on exercise equipment ahead of the 2016 Olympics.
The Big Ride (2014)
The Big Ride started at Stoneyhill in Scotland and finished at St Erth in Cornwall. We cycled over 2,400 miles across 31 days, visiting over 100 of our UK sites.
