A class act by SUEZ and Supply Chain Sustainability School for COP29
Scheduled to take place in Azerbaijan from 11 to 22 November 2024, the 29th session of the COP to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change will bring together world leaders and other stakeholders to assess our progress in reducing global carbon emissions and explore innovative solutions to tackle this pressing issue.
SUEZ recycling and recovery UK recognises the significance of this global challenge and is committed to taking meaningful and expert action. This is why we are proud to be a partner of the Supply Chain Sustainability School, a platform dedicated to equipping organisations in the built environment industry with the knowledge and resources needed to drive sustainability initiatives forward.
In time for COP29, we are excited to share some free, hand-picked training and resources from the Supply Chain Sustainability School that are designed to upskill organisations in the built environment to improve their impact on the planet.
Here are our recommendations:
Science-based targets sustainability short
With the growing awareness of the climate emergency worldwide, an increasing number of businesses are setting science-based targets (SBTs) to reduce their carbon emissions. One of the most important things to remember is that you can’t manage what you can’t measure, and this is the focus of this short video. It will answer your questions on what SBTs are, why they are relevant to you and how you can use them to align your organisation with global climate goals. Get started here.
